Last night I had the pleasure of seeing an old friend that had moved away to the west coast for the summer and subsequently taken a year off. Since we had last met I had begun performing magic more regularly and was very well practiced with some new tricks.
I told him "I just came up with that one this week."
His genuine reaction was disbelief, true disbelief. He figured I had been practicing that one for years and that is fine with me!
