I've had a very busy summer season of magic. My last post was sort of an apology for not doing many frequent updates, which has been a reflection of doing frequent magic shows.
This summer I have performed my usual "Magic themed birthday parties" but I was also at a few bigger events. For more information about my Children's magic show email Alexander the Great Magician for a quote.
The best thing for a large bustling event is an entertainer to energize the crowd. One way I suggest is to set up magic in the corner and have magic throughout the event. This allows a large group of people to come through and see smaller magic tricks.
This is exactly what I was doing last month for a school in Ottawa's east end, and then the following week I came back to the same school to perform a show for the Kindergarten class, they really had a fun time!
In other magic news I have been regularly attending the magic meetings in Ottawa. In case you don't know there are bi weekly meetings for magicians in the Ottawa area where we socialize and talk about magic, and occasionally perform for each other. This has been a greatly successful series of events and it drives me to keep learning more complex effects.
